Event Overview
AAHAR – The International Food & Hospitality Fair – is Asia’s premier food and hospitality trade exhibition. The 40th edition will run March 10–14, 2026 at the new Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Bhawan) complex in New Delhi. Organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and India’s Ministry of Food Processing, AAHAR is a key global platform for the foodservice and hotel industries. Over 1,700 exhibitors and 100,000+ visitors attended the 39th edition (AAHAR 2025), showcasing why the fair is recognized as one of Asia’s most prominent industry events. The 2026 fair will span 11 indoor halls (Halls 1–6, 8–12, 14) plus outdoor zones at Bharat Mandapam, covering the full spectrum of food processing and hospitality segments.
Key Industry Verticals
AAHAR 2026 is organized into two broad verticals:
- Food & Beverage Products – This vertical (in halls such as 2, 4, 5) features processed foods, packaged and ready-to-eat products, dairy and organic foods, spices, beverages and ingredients. Attendees can find everything from gluten-free/health foods and baked goods to oils, jams, snacks and conventional packaged groceries.
- Hospitality Equipment & Services – This vertical (in halls 6–14) focuses on kitchen, restaurant and hotel equipment as well as hospitality supplies and technology. Exhibits include commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, heavy-duty catering equipment, foodservice utensils, restaurant serviceware and decor items. It also highlights hospitality tech and services – e.g. hotel management software, point-of-sale systems, eco-friendly facility solutions and even service robots – reflecting the latest trends in hotel operations.
Highlights & Statistics
- AAHAR 2025 (39th Edition) – Held March 4–8, 2025 in New Delhi. It attracted roughly 1,800 exhibitors (including ~140 international participants from 23 countries) and over 100,000 visitors. The fair also hosted the 18th Culinary Art India competition in 2025, underscoring the event’s focus on chefs and F&B innovation.
- AAHAR 2026 (40th Edition) – Scheduled for March 10–14, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam. As the 40th anniversary edition, it is expected to draw even wider participation. The venue layout will include 11 indoor halls (Halls 1-6, 8-12, 14) and outdoor exhibits, covering the same two verticals (food products and hospitality products) on an expanded scale. Organizers are promoting numerous international pavilions and cutting-edge innovations to sustain the show’s global reach. (For comparison, the 2025 fair had over 1,800 exhibitors and spanned 150 acres at the old Pragati Maidan venue.)
- Global Engagement – AAHAR has a strong international footprint. In 2025 exhibitors came from 23 countries, and AAHAR 2026 continues to invite global participation. Specialty pavilions for wine, spices, and regional cuisines are planned, ensuring hotel and restaurant buyers can sample products and trends from around the world.
Why Hotel Owners Should Attend
AAHAR 2026 offers direct value to hotel and restaurant owners by bringing together every supply chain element under one roof:
- Catering & Kitchen Equipment: Hotel operators can source the latest commercial appliances and kitchen systems – from ovens, freezers and dishwashers to food processing and storage equipment. Specialized bakery and confectionery machinery, as well as café and bar equipment, are also showcased.
- F&B Ingredients & Supplies: Hoteliers’ food & beverage outlets can discover new processed foods, beverages, dairy and organic ingredients for menus or room service. The fair’s “diverse product range” means everything from bulk packaged snacks to gourmet condiments and beverages is available.
- Hotel Furnishings & Housekeeping: Many exhibitors display in-room amenities and decor (furnishings, linens, tableware) and eco-friendly housekeeping solutions. In fact, AAHAR emphasizes the “full spectrum of the food & hospitality industry,” explicitly noting it ranges “from food ingredients to hotel furnishings”. Hoteliers can compare laundry tech, cleaning products and guest-room appliances on-site.
- Hospitality Technology & Services: New hotel technologies are a focus at AAHAR 2026. Organizers highlight innovations like hotel management software, sustainability solutions, service robots and contactless service tools. These can help improve guest experience and operational efficiency, making the fair relevant for owners seeking tech upgrades.
- B2B Networking Opportunities: AAHAR strongly facilitates business-to-business meetings. Scheduled one-on-one appointments connect hotel buyers with bulk suppliers, distributors and manufacturers. This enables hoteliers to negotiate large-volume purchases of goods and equipment, or to explore franchise and distribution partnerships in a concentrated timeframe.
- Culinary Shows & Training: The fair’s live cooking demonstrations, chef masterclasses and Culinary Art competition offer professional development for hotel F&B teams. Owners and chefs can learn the latest trends in gastronomy and mixology from top experts, gaining ideas for menu innovation and staff training.
AAHAR’s breadth – from food processing to hotel décor – makes it a one-stop sourcing and networking event for hotel owners. As one promotion notes, the fair’s “diverse product range” covers every aspect of hotels and restaurants, and its B2B environment helps hoteliers find new products and partners efficiently.
